battery is a 2016 and easily replaceable so anyone dealing with basement and attic and low light areas will greatly benefit from them. don't have any news on length of battery but buy some and future version will happen with better leds and walla better battery times.

What batteries does it use?
Each glove runs on 2 × CR2016 button batteries. When they run low, open the cover with a small screwdriver and swap in new ones – CR2016 cells are sold at most U.S. drugstores and supermarkets.
Are batteries included?
Some orders ship without batteries, so we recommend picking up a pack of CR2016 button cells (4 for a pair) – they're inexpensive at most U.S. drugstores and supermarkets. The gloves aren't rechargeable; you simply swap the cells when they run low.
Will it fit my hand?
One size fits most adult hands. The fingerless fabric stretches, and the hook-and-loop wrist strap lets you tighten or loosen the fit.
Left, right or a pair?
Pick a single glove for your working hand, or get the pair so you always have light on both sides – the pair is the better value.
How do I clean them?
Take the batteries out first, then spot clean with a damp cloth and let the gloves air dry. Don't machine wash.
